And, now is right on time...” I am really delighted to highlight that the P. Baruah School of Nursing is a unique nursing Institute, established in the year 2013, is affiliated to Assam Nurses Midwifery Health Visitors Council and is recognized by Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi.It is increasingly becoming popular because of its rapid growth and academic advancement. Society believes, the progress of a country depends on the health of the citizens and education of Nurses contributes a lot to promote and maintain the health of the nation as a whole. We, the faculty of nursing take up the responsibility in promoting nursing education based on scientific principles, relating to theory and practice, in order to produce skilled, highly competent and qualified nurses, to face the challenges. We promote all round development of the students with special emphasis on intellectual, cultural and spiritual aspects and extracurricular activities to prepare them as effective change agents in the dynamic society. Authentic education implies an on-going, continuous interplay between the five moments of context, experience, reflection, action and evaluation between parents, students and teachers. This is not to lead to mere information but to appropriation, integration into the very activity of Almighty within the created reality of our world but especially within each person. This then leads from information to transformation. The P. Baruah School of Nursing by deepening a sense of wonder, reverence, creativity, fidelity, communication, openness and charity to each other and to the Society seeks to work for the transformation of the complete person. The responsiveness of our staff, the excellent infra structural facilities and hands on practice clinical training prepare our nursing students to meet all kinds of challenges of today and tomorrow.
